Applications for Internship followed by Student Teaching are being accepted.
1) Applications are availableON-LINE or at Room 155 Marillac Hall.
2) Return Applications to at the Office of Advising, Professional Experiences, and Certification ( Room 155 Marillac Hall, South Campus,(314) 516-5937).
3) Enrollment in MID ED 4989 is mandatory as part of the Middle School Certification Program.
4) Before or after you enroll, you must Contact TONY AMBROSE (sahambr@jinx.umsl.edu or 636-441-3421) for details concerning placement, dates, responsibilities, etc.

Commitment. You will need to commit approximately 6-10 hours per week for 16 weeks. Scheduling can be flexible during the semester.

On-Site Courses
1) MID ED 4317 (Middle Level Child) is taught at PCMS Fall and Winter semester. It is a seminar which compliments and reflects on the Intern experience.
2) Each semester, MID ED 4253 Methods of Teaching Social Studies in the Middle School will be offered Monday-Fri (exact days and times to be arranged to fit YOUR schedule) at Parkway Central Middle School.
