Part 1. Thinking and Background Information:

1. IDENTIFY PROBLEMS to be Solved: A whole-class CrossTalk to identify problems to be solved. (Back to ALL Social Studies Units)

• Team 6-4 must demonstrate the ability to read many kinds of maps

Become experts and using an atlas and maps of all kinds, including e-maps….Team 6-4 puts it all together !!!

2. BACKGROUND: One week of Direct Instruction by the teacher. Worksheets, skill development, _notes from text, and vocabulary assignments by the student..... with quizzes, etc.(Students usually work by themselves.)

JOB # 2. TEST (S) 1. TEST on How to Read Maps --- this is a performance test… not a written test. You must actually demonstrate to the Teacher your ability to read real maps.
