Part 1. Thinking and Background Information:

1. THE PROBLEM

(1)  The ancient Greeks proclaimed the almost supreme power and worth of the Human Being.  Man was capable of and defined by the following Virtues:  Pride-Self Worth, Honor, Integrity, Strength, and Knowledge.

(2)  The Greeks also made an honest admission of the Human Being¹s shortcomings and had complete conviction of the reality of consequences for one¹s actions. Greek history and culture is full of examples of the following Vices:  Arrogance, Greece, Jealousy, Impulsiveness, and Vanity.

(3)  PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED:  Does man in 2004-2005 still stand strong with these same VIRTUES and still suffer and struggle with the same VICES?
