Emily was born in Florissant, MO on August 10, 1985. Emily graduated from Hazelwood West HS in 2004. She participated in many activities in high school, including National Honor Society, VIP’s, and Thespians.She also played varsity soccer and varsity cross country, where she was captain her senior year. She was also Sports Editor for her high school’s newspaper. Emily is a Biology major at UMSL. She hopes to obtain a job as a zookeeper someday andwould like to work with primates or big cats. In her spare time, Emily likes to read, scrapbook, ride her bike, play with her kitties, do crafty things, watch Grey’s Anatomy, and spend time with her boyfriend of 4 years. Emily joined Alpha Xi Delta because she was looking for a good group of friends to support her when times were tough, and she found that and more in Alpha Xi. Emily has held the positions of Historian, Assistant New Member Orientation Chair, and Websmater in the chapter.
