Construct:
Construct, the verb (pronounced conSTRUCT) means to build or to put together.  Construct, the noun (pronounced CONstruct), means an idea that has been constructed over time.  Examples include freedom, justice, gender, race, plagiarism, author, etc.  While constructs may seem "natural" or "inevitable," they are actually claims that can be questioned, challenged, redefined or reinvented.
