FILM STARS TO APPEAR AT FASHION SHOWS

Two Hollywood visitors will be guests of honor at fashion shows scheduled for today and tomorrow in the downtown and Clayton stores of Scruggs, Vandervoort and Barney, Inc.

They are Julia Adams and Piper Laurie, co-stars of the Technicolor Film "Mississippi Gambler", which is to have its world premiere here Tuesday.

A repeat show at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Music Hall of the downtown store will feature actress Piper Laurie, who is to model a bridal costume shown in the film. An autograph party in the teen shop will follow the show.
