Interested in becoming a student-veteran at the University of Missouri - St. Louis?
The University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) is committed to supporting our nation's veterans, servicemembers, and their families in pursuit of their education and career goals. Our Veterans Center was established in 2012 to assist veterans in the transition from the military to campus life. We provide a variety of services including admissions support, GI Bill certification and advising, tutoring, and employment opportunities. Most importantly, we offer a comfortable space to connect with other students going through a similar transition. Our 1,100 sq. ft. student lounge is a great place to study, relax, socialize with other veterans, and/or just drop in for a free cup of coffee.
The Veterans Center is staffed by full-time personnel, including the VA Certifying Official, and VA Work Study students who are well-acquainted with all GI Bill chapters. We understand that student veterans' success relies heavily on the timely and accurate processing of VA benefits. Therefore, our foremost commitment is to provide expert advising on how to maximize VA benefits and efficient processing of certifications.
You answered the call to serve so let us support your efforts to move forward in your education, personal, and career goals.
We welcome you and your family to visit our Center in 211 Clark Hall or feel free to give us at 314-516-5705.
