This tour includes an introduction from our Chancellor Blanche M. Touhill along with a map of where UMSL is located. After the introduction users may go forwards and backwards discovering various places on the UMSL Campus. ======================================================================== 2.0 INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO ADD PICTURES AND INFORMATION TO VIRTUAL TOUR ======================================================================== ---------------------------------- 2.1 Adding pictures and information to Virtual Tour (Users Documentation). ---------------------------------- 2.1.1 Departments of UMSL may e-mail web_office@umsl.edu with a picture and information that they would like to be put into the Virtual Tour. If it is accepted (we must go by certain policies and criteria) the Web office will reply with an acceptance. ================ 3.0 USER NOTES ================ ---------------------------------------- 3.1 Picture formats that are supported. ---------------------------------------- 3.1.2 There is a limitation on what image formats are supported with Virtual Tour. Your image must be in jpg or gif format. Images can not be larger than 480 pixel height by 400 pixel width. --------------------------------------- 3.2 Policies. --------------------------------------- 3.2.1 All descriptions and images must meet certain criteria. The description should be relatively short, sound professional and in general present UMSL in a respectable manor. Images should be no larger than 480 height by 400 width. This is the size in number of pixels. The image should also look professional and present UMSL in a respectable manor. ============================================ 4.0 BUG REPORT ============================================ -------------------------------------------- 4.1 LIST OF BUGS FIXED IN THIS RELEASE. -------------------------------------------- 4.1.1 In the prior release the Web Browser did not handle reloading the screen properly. This problem has been fixed. -------------------------------------------- 4.2 LIST OF KNOWN BUGS. -------------------------------------------- 4.2.1 There are some issues loading images and audio quality. However, this is not considered to be a bug because it has more to do with each individual's computer. There are no known bugs at this time.
