Accreditation Website Conversion Project

Universities document their quality in many ways. One of the basic expectations is that they are accredited by a regional accrediting agency.

The image the university represents to both internal and external clients is becoming even more reliant upon our Web presence. In addition to the Web’s strong marketing ability, it also has the potential to “make or break” a prospective student’s decision based upon whether they can find information and whether that information (content) is useful. Inconsistent appearance and structure leads to inconsistent content and confusion for users. The standardization of university Websites will eliminate this.

In an effort to improve the university’s image before the accreditation visit in September, many older looking Websites are being converted to a standard look as described in the University of Missouri - St. Louis Web Standard Policy.

The UMSL Web Office will assist you in converting your Website and will contact you when it is time for your site’s conversion.
