MELL
University of Missouri faculty, staff and students have access to the
Microsoft eLearning Library (MELL). This library has a collection
of end-user and technical on-line courses for Microsoft software
products.
Access
Access is only available from University-owned, on-campus computers
that are connected to our wired Ethernet network. Students can take
advantage of these courses from any campus lab machine.
Using Internet Explorer, go to mell.umsystem.edu to take a course or to see a listing of available courses. When you click on a link for a course collection, you will be prompted to enter your network user name and password. Use your single sign-on id (SSO ID, Gateway ID, My Gateway ID) and password.
After you select a course, click on the Help link
for
viewer and content help.
Tips
Once you have clicked on a course collection title and received the
course training page, your browser Back button will not return you
to the course listing page. You can click in the browser's address
box and press Enter to return to the course listing page.
To pickup where you have left off in a course, you can add a browser
favorite as a shortcut to return you to the content area of that course.
Before you exit the course, click on the Shortcuts link
and
select "Save shortcut in Favorites folder".
