The handset migration is ready to begin!
The ShoreTel IP 230 phone will be the model most users will receive when the Nortel telephone is replaced. Another model (ShoreTel IP 115) is available by request. Please see the chart below which compares features and benefits of the IP 230 model and the IP 115 model.

For those users who currently have a single-line desk phone with no options (that is, no speakerphone or caller ID), in addition to speakerphone and caller ID, the user will gain 2 buttons that can be used to receive multiple calls and/or to use as speed dials.
However, if you are a single-line desk phone user and would rather continue with a basic single-line phone, you may decide you prefer the ShoreTel IP 115 phone. If so, it can be requested by clicking on the following link: www.umsl.edu/shoreteloptions. If you have any questions, please call x6500.
NOTE: Once you have received a handset as part of the campus migration, any changes to the type of handset you have been provided will be billable.
Users with mutliple line appearances will receive the appropriate model to accommodate the number of line appearances required.
