What is Zoom?

Zoom is a web conferencing tool used to meet virtually with others using video, audio, and chat. Participants can make use of screen sharing, a whiteboard tool, breakout rooms, and text chat. Zoom sessions can be recorded and automatically added to Kaltura My Media in Canvas.

Zoom users can choose either a Basic or Pro user account.

Basic account should meet most needs and has the following capabilities:

Pro account is necessary if a Basic account will not meet your requirements.  A Pro account includes the following additional capabilities:
