Instructional Computing

AV Equipment

The following items are available for put-out to classrooms:

• Overheads
• TV / VCR combination units
• Slide Projectors
• Microphones (for lecture halls only)

The items above are put-out into classrooms by student staff. When the class period is over the items are collected by the staff and returned to storage. As a result, we can no longer deliver equipment to a room where we do not have access. (this includes department conference rooms, locked department rooms, etc.)

Reservations for equipment put-outs will be taken between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. All requests must be 4:00pm the working day prior to the request for any equipment. Please do not call us at 9:00 am for a 10:00 am same day request. We will not be able to meet your request.

The following items are available for check-out to be used in TEC's:

• Wireless Lecture Hall Microphone (available for Lucas 100,200, Benton 102, & Stadler 104)

Effective Fall 2005, the RemotePoint Wireless mouse, and Centra Wireless Microphones are available via check out from the Faculty Resouce Center. Please contact them at x6704 or via email at frc@umsl.edu for more assistance.

As of summer 2001, faculty may also check-out AV equipment for long-term, or off campus, use. These items are now checked out by the Faculty Resource Center located in CCB 105. You can call x6704 to see what they have available.
