Hightower's Background (:34)

Hightower: I got a degree, actually, in journalism, and so I was doing more video production work. I started working for IFAS -- the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences -- at the University of Florida. The way our shop is set up, it's partly educational video production and partly distance education. And I got started slowly into distance education, and now I do solely distance education. It was kind of a fluke. It happened by accident. I'm not an academic, by any means, or an instructional designer by trade. I'm more of a production person by trade.
