As ADEC President Janet Poley mentioned earlier, there is a lot to
know about copyright law and its application to the distance education environment.
However, here are a few "pointers" to keep in mind about copyright
and distance education:
Obtain permission to use
copyrighted works.
Always credit sources that you use within
the fair use guidelines.
Let people know when you are linking to their
materials, out of common courtesy.
