The Desktop System Plan (DSP) provides a new desktop computer on a three-year replacement cycle and includes a base desktop system, all hardware and software maintenance on that system, data port, standard software applications, and access to 
network resources.

Faculty and Staff members who meet the following criteria are required to be in the Desktop System Plan:

  • 75-100% Full Time Equivalent (FTE), Faculty
  • 75-100% Full Time Equivalent (FTE), Staff, 50% or more of their salary must be paid 
    from a General Allocation PS Account (400000)
  • No EEOC code of 6 - Skilled Craftsmen
  • No EEOC code of 7 - Service Maintenance

Please note: ITS is currently reviewing the above criteria for modification to include all benefit eligible employees of the university.
