UMSL Women LEAD

The Sue Shear Institute for Women In Public Life is proud to announce UMSL Women LEAD a program sponsored by the Sue Shear Institute and the UMSL Women's Leadership Council and funding from the ASUM chapter at UMSL. Held throughout the fall semster, UMSL Women LEAD supports and encourages students' civic engagement and instills in them a passion for women's public sector leadership.  Applications will be available September 2012.

The UMSL Women LEAD program offers sessions that include:

Community Service Examining Different Leadership Styles Exploring Effective Leadership Strategies Guided Networking Salary Negotiations Opportunities to Interact with Successful Private and Public Sector Women Leaders

Upon successful completion of the program students may choose to be matched with a mentor for the Spring Semester
