Mannheim Park is a student run organization
that seeks to create an intellectual environment
in which students from all disciplines can further
their understanding of social phenomena,
specifically the social processes that influence
the direction and speed of social change.
Mannheim Park specializes in
holding several forums
each year focusing on a wide
range of topics and their
effects upon our society.
Guest speakers from various
disciplines of knowledge are
invited to share their unique
viewpoints. Forums in
the past have focused on topics ranging
from the teaching of evolution
in schools to gun control
to the effects of the great
home run race.
