Keep this short – If you have worked in the Information Systems industry give a brief outline of your specialties, total years of industry experience…
If you are a Software Engineer highlight your general contributions, have you played a role as project manager, highlight your strongest skill…
If you are a Network engineer, systems you have administered, level of support provided…
Technical Support/Help Desk, your ability to understand the clients needs and troubleshoot a variety of situations and environments…
LIST OF TECHNICAL SKILLS
Break it down by functions, if you are a Software Engineer list those skills first, followed by database, operating systems, etc.
List your strongest skills first within those categories
JOB EXPERIENCE
If you have been at a company for a long time and moved up the ranks, list each project/position with its own time line.  This will emphasize your ability to expand your skills and interests.
Do not go into long detail about what the company does, detail what you did for the company.
List all your work experience.
