The Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs administers the
Division of Student Affairs, including numerous departments and
programs. These units include the Center for Student Success,
comprised of Student Advising, Career Services, Disability Access
Services, and Student Support Services; Enrollment Services which
includes Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, and the Welcome
Center; Student Life and Development composed of Student Life, Orientation,
Judicial Affairs, Residential Life and Recreational Sports; Health, Wellness
and Counseling includes Counseling Services, University Health Services,
and the Wellness Resource Center; Transfer Services and Articulation; and Athletics.
The mission of Student Affairs is to provide quality programs and
services complementing the academic experience, and providing
opportunities that enhance the development of students.
In addition to overseeing the Division of Student Affairs, the Vice
Provost (or designee) is the Primary Administrative Officer for the
Student Code of Conduct and also handles any complaints alleging
discrimination against students. The Vice Provost work with the
Student Government Association and the University Assembly
Committee on Student Affairs regarding select campus policies and
procedures.
