The Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs administers the Division of Student Affairs, including numerous departments and programs. These units include the Center for Student Success, comprised of Student Advising, Career Services, and the Campus Testing Center; Enrollment Services which includes Admissions, Registration, Financial Aid, and the Welcome Center (including Orientation); Student Life and Development composed of Student Life, Disability Access Services and Student Support Services, Residential Life and Judicial Affairs; University Health, Wellness and Counseling includes Counseling Services, University Health Services, and the Wellness Resource Center; Athletics (which includes Recreational Sports); Transfer Services and Articulation (includes Degree Audit); and Auxiliary Services which includes the Bookstore, Vending, Catering, and the Millennium Student Center. The mission of Student Affairs is to provide quality programs and services complementing the academic experience, and providing opportunities that enhance the development of students.

In addition to overseeing the Division of Student Affairs, the Vice Provost (or designee) is the Primary Administrative Officer for the Student Code of Conduct and also handles any complaints alleging discrimination against students. The Vice Provost work with the Student Government Association and the University Assembly Committee on Student Affairs regarding select campus policies and procedures.
