The Center for International Studies organizes and supports a wide range of internationally related programs, including study abroad and exchange programs; directs the Office of International Student Scholar Services; sponsors faculty research in international and comparative studies; operates a comprehensive global education program, and sponsors an international performing arts series.

The Center for International Studies also administers a number of programs for students, including undergraduate certificate programs in Africana studies, East Asian studies, European studies, Latin American studies, Greek studies, international studies, and international business and the Graduate certificate program in international studies and conducts annual contests, with cash prizes, for students including the International Photo Contest and art essay, and webpage contests on the the: "The United Nations: A World Holiday". Also, assists students in arranging international business internships. Additional information on the certificate programs, Center-sponsored seminars and conferences, and Sigma Iota Rho (the International Relations Honor Society), is available in the Center.
