Academic Advising
Academic advising is an ongoing process which results from a relationship with an advisor (a faculty advisor and/or professional advisor) who assists you in the development of meaningful educational plans that are consistent with your life goals. An academic advisor can assist you by helping to identify and assess alternatives in your educational planning as well as the consequences of various decisions. It is important to work closely with an advisor to plan your program of study so that you will take courses in their proper sequence to meet the graduation requirements for your degree program in a timely manner.
