When you first inquired about the University, the staff
in Admissions were there to provide you with information and
advice. This office is also responsible for assembling applicant
files, including all transcripts, test scores, and other pertinent
information.
When you completed your application for admission to UM-St.
Louis, you agreed to have all previous high school and college
transcripts sent here. Your application and transcript data
were entered into our student database. Any college-level
transfer coursework is evaluated by our Degree Audit staff
in order to give you all possible credit toward your degree.
If your family members or friends need information about the
University, please have them contact our office. For a tour of
the campus, please have them contact the Welcome Center at

Re-Enrollment
If you find it necessary to interrupt your studies at UM-St.
Louis, we hope that you will choose to return! When you do,
Admissions can provide you with any assistance you might need
to re-enroll.

The University of Missouri-St. Louis offers courses for
graduate credit to qualified individuals to fulfill two kinds
of student objectives: (1) completion of academic and professional
degrees and certificates; and (2) attainment of personal and
professional development.
Students with a bachelor's degree or the equivalent from
an accredited college or university may apply for admission
to the Graduate School. Applications are reviewed by the departments
or schools in which students propose to do graduate study
and by the Graduate School. Within limitations, students may
be admitted to the Graduate School if their previous academic
records and background suggest reasonable likelihood for success
in their proposed programs. Students are admitted by the Dean
of the Graduate School only upon recommendation of the department
or school involved.
