Traffic Violations Appeals Procedure
- Students desiring to appeal the assessment of a violation
shall:
- Report to the Parking & Transportation Office and file
a written appeal within two calendar weeks from the
date of the University Statement sent to the student.
- The right of appeal shall be forfeited two calendar
weeks following the date of the University Statement.
- A student who files a written appeal shall have the
appeal heard by the appeals committee, established as
provided by the University of Missouri-St. Louis. The
recommendation of the appeals committee shall be final.
- Faculty desiring to appeal the assessment of a violation
shall:
- Report to the Parking & Transportation Office and file
a written appeal within two calendar weeks from the date
of the University Statement sent to the faculty member.
- The right of appeal shall be forfeited two calendar
weeks following the date of the University Statement.
- Review shall be by the appeals committee. The decision
of the appeals committee shall be final. If it is decided
that a traffic violation fine should be paid, the faculty
member should arrange to pay the fine at the Cashier's
Office within two calendar weeks from the date of the
notification of the decision. Failure
to make payment will lead to a payroll deduction.
- Staff desiring to appeal the assessment of a violation
shall:
- Report to the Parking & Transportation Office and file
a written appeal within two calendar weeks from the
date of the University Statement sent to the staff member.
- The right of appeal shall be forfeited two calendar
weeks following the date of the University Statement.
- Review shall be by the appeals committee. The decision
of the appeals committee shall be final. If it is decided
that a traffic violation fine should be paid, the staff
member should arrange to pay the fine at the Cashier's
Office within two calendar weeks from the date of the
notification of the appeals committee decision. Failure
to make payment will lead to a payroll deduction.
