Office of Judicial Affairs
Welcome to Judicial Affairs
The mission of the Office of Judicial Affairs (OJA) is to uphold
an environment conducive to scholarly learning and citizenship across
campus. OJA administers issues that arise regarding student conduct
on campus in accordance with the Collected Rules and Regulations,
Section 200.010 and Section 200.020, governing the University of Missouri
System.
When an incident is reported to the Office of Judicial Affairs, the
Primary Administrative Officer conducts a thorough investigation,
speaking with all parties involved, and reviewing any and all evidence
available. Students found to have violated the Student Code of Conduct
are sanctioned accordingly. In considering appropriate sanctions,
OJA utilizes educational strategies to provide growth opportunities,
enabling those students to become active, productive participants
in our "Community of Scholars".
