Making the grade
Being student and mom can be full-time job
Jennifer Horrell's day begins at 6 a.m. when many of her classmates are still fast asleep. It ends well after she tucks Anthony, her 4-year-old son, in for the night. She is able to handle the hustle and bustle of being a full-time senior at UM-St. Louis majoring in high school science and the primary-caregiver for her son.

Determination is key to quitting smoking
Never underestimate the resilience of the human body. There are some limitations; for example, if someone loses a leg, he won't be able to grow a replacement. However, the human body best demonstrates its healing abilities after a person quits smoking in the many ways the body rebuilds its functional systems.
