Actually, this isn't a new ideaÑlast year's big Oscar winner "Life is Beautiful" was a comedy that dealt with the Holocaust (part of it takes place in a concentration camp). "Jakob the Liar" is also a comedy about Jewish people during World War II, but this one takes place entirely within a ghetto in Poland.
