CHILDREN OF VIOLENCE:: Tuesday, April 20, 1999, two students, ages 18 and 17, strolled into Columbine High School and began to shoot at anyone that moved or tried to lead the student body to safety. As a result of this tragic event a teacher and 12 students lost their lives. PROJECT DISPLAYS RESULTS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE: In 1997, boyfriends or husbands killed 29 percent of female murder victims. In the same year, three percent of males were killed by their wives or girlfriends.
