DETAILS
Joanne Harris' new book, "The Girl with No Shadow" returns five years later to the central characters, Vianne and her daughter Anouk, from her novel, "Chocolat." The British author has written five other novels since her first book was transformed into a major motion picture. Two of those books have mouth-watering themes: "Blackberry Wine" narrated by a bottle of vintage wine and the "Five Quarters of an Orange" which is filled with crepes recipes. A teacher for many years, Harris gave it up to write full time when "Chocolat" became such a success.
