Whitney and Anna Harris invested in UM-St. Louis
When Whitney and Anna Harris established a
planned gift at the University of Missouri-
St. Louis, they not only satisfied their own
financial needs, but also supported two causes that are
dear to them: higher education and conservation.
Whitney and Anna understand the historical significance of, and the increasingly limited state resources for, public higher education.
“Without public universities, this country would not have experienced the progress and prosperity that we know today. In St. Louis, quality public higher education is of utmost importance. UM-St. Louis is essential to the betterment of our young people,” Whitney said.
The Harris’ gift supports the Whitney and Anna Harris Conservation Forum, an annual event that raises public awareness of conservation issues.
“Our gift also is a smart investment strategy for us,” he said.
