Erika G. Malone, Assistant Director of Transfer Services
Erika G. Malone (aka E.G) became a member of the
UM-St. Louis family January 2003. She started off as a high school recruiter at UM-St. Louis and was promoted to transfer coordinator in July 2004. Previous to working for the university E.G was employed as an admissions representative at Florissant Valley Community College for two years.
She is a graduate of Hazelwood East High School.
She received her associate’s degree from St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley and her bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University.
She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education at UM-St. Louis.E.G is a member of National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and Missouri Blacks in Higher Education (MAHBE). She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Her current responsibilities as a Transfer Coordinator working with students at
St. Louis Community College-Forest Park as well as other community colleges and 4-year institutions in Missouri. She also attends transfer recruitment events throughout the region. E.G also serves as the webmaster for the Office of Transfer Services website. She also dabbles in radio broadcasting you can catch her show on the "U" www.umslradio.com
In her spare time, loves photography, experiment with web design, write poetry and spending time with her husband Jerome and daughter Jaionna.
