Book Check-out
- The library catalog is accessible to all from the UMSL Libraries' homepage - No password required
- Books may be requested by UMSL faculty, staff and students
for "pickup anywhere" through the MOBIUS statewide library consortium.
- When requesting an item through MOBIUS - UMSL is in the MERLIN cluster.
- To pickup a book at an academic library other than one of the UMSL Libraries click on the MOBIUS Libraries link on the MOBIUS homepage to identify pickup cluster and location. Enter the new "Pickup Cluster:" (i.e. Archway) and "Pickup Location:" (i.e. Jefferson College) in the appropriate boxes.
- A valid UMSL Student ID is required for checkout from any MOBIUS Library.
- Visiting Mobius Patrons: An institutional photo I.D. or an institutional I.D., plus a government issued photo I. D. (e.g., driver's license, state I.D., passport, etc.)
will be required to check out materials as a Visiting Patron.

- Books not available through the UMSL Library Catalog or through MOBIUS may be requested for pickup at either the Thomas Jefferson or Ward Barnes Library by UMSL faculty, staff and students via Interlibrary Loan .
