Remote Access to UM-St. Louis Library Databases

A valid UM - St. Louis student Gateway ID and password are required
to search UM-St. Louis Databases from off campus locations.

Database Remote Access from the UM-St. Louis Libraries homepage
http://www.umsl.edu/library/

1. Locate Databases in the left-hand list on the Library homepage.

2. Click on either: Sorted Alphabetically Sorted by Subject - Click on the desired subject area ( Health Sciences) to view a list of database choices.

3. Click on Search this Database or the desired database (i.e., CINAHL 1982- Present, Cochran Library, etc.). On the next page click on the Search link (i.e.Search CINAHL, 1982 -)

4. Enter your Gateway ID and password.

Database Remote Access through MyGateway

1.) If you are already logged into MyGateway click on the red Library tab. Click on the URL http://www.umsl.edu/library/ . This will take you to the UM-St. Louis library homepage.

2.) Follow Steps 1-4 above. You may be asked to enter your Gateway ID and password again.

Gateway ID

Your UM - St. Louis Gateway ID and password are required to search any of the Electronic Databases from off campus locations.

If you do not know your Gateway ID and password, click on GatewayID Search.
