Experts Guide

The University of Missouri-St. Louis was founded in 1963 to bring public university education to the state's largest metropolitan area. It is the youngest of the four campuses of the University of Missouri System.

With more than 15,000 students, UMSL is the largest public university in the area and the third largest in Missouri. It offers 47 undergraduate degree programs, 29 master's degree programs, 13 doctoral degree programs and the state's only professional degree in optometry.
