Downloading and E-mailing from OVID via the Web

Always Read the Screens

Due to differences in software, you may notice variations in these procedures.



Downloading

  1. Display the results of your search and determine the records you wish to download. Scroll to the Citation Manager at the bottom of the Titles Display Screen.


  2. Choose the correct disk drive and name your file, save as a .txt file.

  3. Click on save.

  4. After saving, return to searching to proceed or Logoff.

  5. Open your file in any word processing program. To open your file, be sure to select the correct disk drive.

E-mailing
  1. Display the records of your search and determine the records you wish to e-mail. Scroll to the Citation Manager at the bottom of the Titles Display Screen.


  2. E-mail Citations To: Enter the e-mail address where the records are to be sent.
  3. Click on Send E-mail.
  4. An Email Confirmation message will appear. Return to searching to proceed or Logoff.

On-Screen Help: Click on the Help icon in the upper right portion of your screen.
