Searching for Books

The Libraries presently cannot deliver books to your home. However, as a member of the MOBIUS consortium you can use your UM-St. Louis ID to check out books from any nearby MOBIUS member library. Additionally, with the MOBIUS "Pick up Anywhere" feature you can have books delivered to the nearest MOBIUS campus to your location. You may also be eligible to check books out from your local public libraries. The links below can help you find out which libraries own which books.

Searching for Articles

The key to searching for articles is to use the appropriate finding tool (e.g., index, database, etc.). The Libraries subscribe to over 150 databases which can be used to find articles on any subject. If you can't find the right database, consider using Remote Assistance from a Librarian. We can either tell you over the phone or by email which online resource is best for your problem. Note that in order to access a library database from home, you will need to know your Gateway ID and Password.
