Housing Options at UMSL

There are many housing options available to students at UM-St. Louis. The following links and tables provide information regarding housing.

On-Campus Housing (residence halls & apartments)
University-run, on-campus housing in either residence halls (dormitories) or apartments is offered through:

Campus-Affiliated Housing (apartments)
Independently-run, on-campus housing in apartments is also offered by:

University Meadows.

Temporary Housing

This is necessary only for students who plan to search for off-campus housing after their arrival. For the University Meadows and the Residential Life facilities, students can move directly into their rooms.

Off-Campus Housing

All UM - St. Louis students are free to live off-campus if they choose. Off-campus housing can sometimes be cheaper or more expensive than on-campus housing. It is almost always farther from campus (and this can be a problem for students without cars). Off-campus housing also has additional costs (like utilities) that are often cheaper or at least more predicable with on-campus housing. But because on-campus housing is attractive to some students, three options for finding off-campus housing in St. Louis are offered below.
