Employee Recognition Programs
To recognize our excellent, hard-working staff, the university has established the following programs:
Riverstars Employee of the Month Award Program
Chancellor's Award for Staff Excellence
Each year the Chancellor recognizes three outstanding UMSL staff members. A $1,000 award recognizes individual staff contributions to the university in each of three categories -- administrative/professional, office/technical, and service/maintenance.
Employee Service Awards
The University of Missouri service award program is a way to recognize the valuable contributions made by staff on behalf of the university. The awards are given to regular employees who have continuous service in increments of five (5) years.
