Class Swap

In the MyView Student System, the Class Swap pages are part of the Enrollment section where students can add, drop, swap and edit classes in their schedule for a particular term, within published deadlines. Click here for instructions on how to swap a class in MyView.

Fall and Spring Semesters

During the Fall and Spring semesters, a student can drop a class and replace it with another of equal credit hours for an even swap.  Classes can be evenly swapped anytime during the semester as long as the class add is done within seven days of the class drop.

If a class is dropped and not swapped with another, the student will be charged a percentage based on the semester reassessment schedule.

Summer Semester

During the Summer semester, a student can drop a class and replace it with another of equal credit hours for an even swap. Classes can be evenly swapped anytime during the semester as long as the class add is done within seven days of the class drop.
