College of Education
The College of Education is proud to be the largest preparer of educators for the St. Louis metropolitan area and the state of Missouri. There are over 19,000 graduates with the experience and skills to strengthen communities and greatly influence the lives of our children.
The college is known for its integral use of technology, quality faculty and extensive undergraduate and graduate programs. Students can choose to study in one of four divisions, and each offers strong cooperative programs with local school districts, social service agencies, businesses and government. This focus on practice exposes students to a variety of learning styles, and prepares them for success in the workplace.
Financial support is vital to maintaining the college’s rigorous academic standards and over 20 collaborative programs. Generous donors help provide research assistance, scholarships and updated technology for students and working professionals.
