UMSL Annual Giving
The annual fund is a way for everyone to support the University of Missouri-St. Louis. State appropriations cover approximately 30 percent of the university's operating budget. While planned gifts and endowments ensure a vibrant future, annual giving addresses immediate needs.
Generous alumni, parents, employees and friends can designate their annual gifts to one or more of the following areas:
- Academic units and university programs
- Student scholarships
- Technology advances
- Student organizations, resources and services
- Research and exploration
Many donors also collaborate with their employer to take advantage of corporate matching gift programs that can double, and in some cases triple, individual donations.
Every gift makes a difference. The Century Club recognizes those who contribute at least $100 a year.
Donors who give $1,000 or more annually to support current operations are members of the Pierre Laclede Society and receive special benefits.
