2007 Professional Development Conference for Graduate Teaching and Research Assistants

Welcome to this year's conference! Each concurrent session offers six tracks: Teaching with Technology, Classroom Management, Grading, Active Learning, Gender & Diversity, and Professional Development. Your senior TA will recommend the sessions most appropriate to your upcoming duties and responsibilities. Try to attend at least one session per track.

If you intend to enroll in the graduate Certificate in University Teaching (CUT) Unit 1, EdPsy 7647, your first assignment--the conference journal--which explains how and why to take notes in every session, will be due the first night of class, September 10.

To learn more about the CUT program, check out the Professional Development sessions at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday and 2:00 p.m. Thursday. You can also download the brochure via the CTL website above by following links to "Programs for Teaching Assistants."
