Electronic Submission of Course Final Grades
Below is important information for faculty wishing to submit course final grades electronically this semester:
- Fall 2003 will be the first semester for campus-wide Web Grading. This website will be available on Thursday, December 4th. (This method of grade submission was pilot-tested in two academic units during the spring 2003 semester.)
- For this semester faculty not wanting to submit grades electronically have the option of requesting a scan sheet. Scannable grade sheets will NOT be automatically mailed to the departments. Faculty wanting a scan sheet should contact Tyrome Petty at 5649 or mailto:pettyty@umsl.edu
- Faculty interested in individual training or assistance in using the Online Grade Entry System may contact the Faculty Resource Center at 6704 or mailto:FRC@umsl.edu
- Any faculty member who is in the Human Resources data base and has a Social Security Number in that database will be able to submit grades electronically to the Registrar, provided that the Registrar's office knows the identity of the faculty member teaching the course (Departments were asked to provide the names of all instructors teaching courses earlier in the semester.). However, if a faculty member has never used E-mail or My Gateway, that faculty member will need to call Ext. 6034 (Technology Support Center) to activate her or his account.
- Steps necessary to complete Web Grading:
You will need your SSO ID to login. This is the same as your Exchange/Outlook E-mail sign-on or your MyGateway sign-on.
