Monthly UM-St. Louis Meeting Topics (as of 9/1/06)
New Faculty Teaching Scholars convene monthly for presentations and discussions on topics related to teaching and learning and academic success at UM-St. Louis. The meetings offer an opportunity to share information, to meet with senior faculty, and to provide a time and space for networking and collegiality.

Keynote speaker is Chris Jernstedt, Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Dartmouth College.

Jernstedt’s Friday presentations include The Cognitive Foundations of Learning and The Evaluative Foundations of LearningThese topics anchor 2 days of presentations by colleagues from campuses across the region.
