The College Readership Program provides students with a daily newspaper on campus. Funded by UMSL student fees, students select each day from the New York Times, USA Today, or the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. To make the most of the program, newspaper representatives and faculty colleagues will describe strategies for integrating newspapers and their online supports into a course.

Clickers in the classroom give students the chance to be involved and active. Answering mastery questions and opinion polls provide faculty instantaneous feedback. The Desmond Lee Technology and Learning Center offers ANY instructor the loan of 20 clickers. This interactive demonstration will illustrate their use.
