ACT Residual Test

Students are asked to please arrive at 100 Clark Hall 15 minutes before testing time in order to guarantee prompt admission to test room.

The ACT Residual is approximately four hours long. The cost is $30.00 which must be paid at the Cashier's Office in room 285 Millennium Student Center at least one hour before the beginning of the test. Students may pay for this test with cash, check, money order or debit cards.

At the time of test administration, you must present the payment receipt along with your picture I.D. Please bring two #2 pencils. You may bring an acceptable four-function, scientific or graphing calculator to use only on the Mathematics portion of the test. (Calculators will not be provided nor may they be shared.)

Review material for individual tests may be available on the web. We suggest that you do a search with the name of the test followed by "Test Review" (with quotes), e.g., ACT "Test Review"

All visitors to the UM-St. Louis campus should go to the Parking and Transportation Office and obtain a $1.00 one-day guest parking pass. Please see the Parking and Transportation Office website for further details.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have tested previously via residual testing, the retest should be taken on a national test date. If this is not possible, a second residual testing may be taken but only after a minimum of sixty (60) days has elapsed since the first testing. If the 60-day residual time limit is violated, the retest scores will be canceled automatically. No refund will be made for such canceled retests.
