Africa World Documentary Film Festival - February 4 - 7, 2010
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Africa World Documentary Film Festival (AWDFF) is sponsored by the E. Desmond Lee Professorship in African/African American Studies, Center for International Studies, University of Missouri-St. Louis.
The AWDFF has as its objective the promotion of knowledge and culture of the people of Africa, in a Pan-African context.
In promotion of the Pan African context, public viewings of submission accepted by AWDFF shall also occur in Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
Though the AAWDFF is non-competitive, prizes of $1,000 and $500 shall be awarded to two documentaries judged by the AWDFF committee as furthering understanding and contributing significantly to knowledge of the African World.

GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
Documentaries submitted to AWDFF should not be copyrighted or produced prior to 2007.
All films in a language other than English must be subtitled or dubbed in English.
No cuts or changes in any film will be made by the festival committee for any reason.
Excerpts from films will only be shown on television for promotional purposes if permission is obtained from the producer.
The AWDFF is open to the public.
The AWDFF shall not offer comments or reasons for films not selected for the festival.
This is a non-refundable fee, to be sent in the form of a Money Order or Cashier's Check, payable to AWDFF, UM-St. Louis or by credit card online through WITHOUTABOX.

If you wish to have your film considered for the Africa World Documentary Film Festival, please send us 2 copies of the film on DVD, and additional information on the film, including a synopsis and/or press kit, as soon as possible.
Viewing material should be insured by the sender and sent via airmail or courier (at the sender's expense), along with the entry fee to:
