The
Center for International Studies at UM-St. Louis has developed a collection
of recommended international studies teaching materials fro grades
K-college. Educators and librarians may learn about the collection
by referring to the annotated list of resources below.

WHO
MAY USE THE LIBRARY AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
Materials
in the Library may be borrowed by educators and librarians throughout
Missouri. The only cost is return postage and insurance, except
for cultural artifact kits and some videotapes, which require
nominal fees for shipping and insurance plus a fully refundable
deposit.

CAN MATERIALS BE BORROWED?
Borrowers
may contact the Center by telephone (314-516-6455), e-mail cislibrary@umsl.edu.
The normal loan period is two (2) weeks from date of pick up
or three (3) weeks if material is returned by mail to our office. As with
all curriculum materials, teachers are advised to preview to
determine
suitability for their students and local community.

Our cultural artifact kits are collections of everyday-use items from other countries. Some of the kits have consumable materials. All items are intended for hands-on use by students. All the kits are unique, but each contains the following kinds of items:

- A selection of the best print and multimedia teaching materials available
