The Office of International Studies and Programs at UMSL
operates a U.S. Department of State designated passport application acceptance facility. As a passport application acceptance facility, we are able to accept passport applications for United States citizens of all ages. You do not have to be affiliated with the University of Missouri–St. Louis to utilize our passport application facility, but appointments are required.

314-516-7297Those wishing to apply for a passport or have passport photos taken must make an appointment to do so. Appointments may be made by calling 314-516-7297. Passport applications will NOT be accepted without an appointment.
Passport application appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please note that if your appointment is after 1 p.m., your application will not be mailed until the following business day. Passport and visa photo appointments are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

International Studies and Programs can take your passport photos
and accept your passport application. Applications are available at our office or online at http://travel.state.gov
Documents needed to submit a passport application:
1. Previously issued passport, original birth certificate, or certified copy of your birth certificate
2. One passport photo
(may be obtained at International Studies and Programs for an additional fee)
3. Driver's License or other government-issued photo ID
